Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for my Bristol to Bordeaux cycle in July 2022!

As many of you will know, Neil and I were very much looking forward to taking part in this challenge together and were well into our training prior to him passing away at the end of March. To say that I'm devastated would be a massive understatement. We were so happy, he was my soul mate - a beautiful man inside and out and I miss him immensely every single day.

Neil loved this ride and he was passionate about the charity and the work that they do. So having spoken with PROPS and a kind rider who I had never met before, I have decided that I will throw myself into the training and complete the 500 mile challenge. Yes that really is 125 miles a day for 4 days - GULP! I hope that this will give me a positive focus for the next 11 weeks and a chance to turn this horrendous sadness that I feel every day, into something positive - to raise lots of money for PROPS and make Neil proud of me.

PROPS do fantastic work supporting adults with learning disabilities to build resilience, gain independence and develop work-based skills. PROPS Trainees work in a number of projects and enterprises, from brewing and cooking to printing services to help unlock opportunities to meaningful paid employment. It’s a great cause, and as a small charity, your donation will make a huge difference to help them achieve even more!

The charity has big plans for the future, including building a Cafe in Bristol to train and employ trainees, and your sponsorship will help make projects like this a reality.

Please share with friends, family and colleagues so I can reach my target, make Neil proud and together we can help PROPS do more!

Thank you! Vickie Watts
