How to join "As parents, we continue to be extremely pleased with PROPS provision for our son. We have seen a noticeable difference in his communication skills given the opportunities PROPS provide. We thoroughly enjoyed the end of year ‘celebration’ and saw how brilliantly our son interacts with his peers and staff alike." Interested individuals are invited to come for an informal visit, followed by a trial day. In order to access PROPS, funding must be agreed and in place before service can commence. You will need a social worker from Bristol City Council or South Gloucestershire Council to arrange this. "PROPS is a service the Transition Team (South Gloucestershire Council) have referred lots of our young people to, as the support from the staff team is great and it has made a big impact to their quality of life. PROPS facilitates progressing to getting a job ,being part of the community and self-enterprise projects" Shaun Heaney, Transitions Facilitator, South Gloucestershire Council We have a fleet of accessible vehicles, and transport is available to all trainees, covering Bristol and South Gloucestershire. We are based at the Vassall Centre in Fishponds. The Vassall Centre is one of the earliest barrier-free workplaces in the UK, having been extensively renovated in the last 25 years.
